St. Peter encourages us in 1 Peter 3:15b: "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have." We know that it is better to win a soul in Christ than to win an argument. So we should help a person with much prayer and with the word of God so that the Holy Spirit may work in him or her. Still, we should be prepared to share our faith with others.
